MASTER PLAN DETAILS
AND FUTURE STATE
Bishop’s Reach is more than a neighbourhood. It’s a community that is being developed to become a home for Frederictonians of all walks of life, from young professionals and families to recent empty nesters and seniors. Aligned with Fredericton’s municipal plan and designed with future residents in mind, Bishop’s Reach is a well-thought-out mix of housing types from apartment buildings and townhouses to semis and single-family homes. A large commercial component complements the residential area, and there is land dedicated for park, recreation and institutional amenities.
SITE AVAILABILITY AND STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT
BISHOP’S REACH is approximately 500 acres in size. Development will be phased.

Land for a wide variety of existing and proposed housing types is available to meet virtually every need, including apartments, townhouses, and single-family homes.
The commercial component of the development located on Bishop Drive offers a growing variety of restaurants, services, offices and retailers. If that’s not enough to scratch your shopping itch, the Regent Mall, Corbett Centre and Prospect Street are only 2 to 5 minutes’ drive away.
A wide variety of green spaces and land for community and institutional uses are also in place, with more coming in the future.
Located in the vibrant capital city of Fredericton, Bishop’s Reach is poised to fill a variety of housing and commercial property needs for the city’s growing population. The scale of the project creates an opportunity for a professionally planned neighbourhood, creating a cohesive community with a distinct identity.
Fredericton has one of the most stable economies in Atlantic Canada, with major employers such as the Province of New Brunswick and the Department of National Defence. A post-secondary student hub, the city is home to the University of New Brunswick, St. Thomas University and New Brunswick Community College.
