Bishop’s Reach is more than a neighbourhood. It’s a community that is being developed to become a home for Frederictonians of all walks of life, from young professionals and families to recent empty nesters and seniors. Aligned with Fredericton’s municipal plan and designed with future residents in mind, Bishop’s Reach is a well-thought-out mix of housing types from apartment buildings and townhouses to semis and single-family homes. A large commercial component complements the residential area, and there is land dedicated for park, recreation and institutional amenities.

SITE AVAILABILITY AND STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT

BISHOP’S REACH is approximately 500 acres in size. Development will be phased.

    Brianna Drive extension mixed use area and Lian Street extension apartment area.

    Residential land south of Brianna Drive, Langille Drive and Lian Street extension. Commercial/mixed use land north of Bishop Drive.

Currently, there are 2- to 10-acre commercial parcels available along Bishop Drive, mixed-use lots on Brianna Drive (at Hanwell), and mid-rise apartment sites on Lian Street. Further parcels will be sold to builders following the extension of new streets based on market conditions.

Located in the vibrant capital city of Fredericton, Bishop’s Reach is poised to fill a variety of housing and commercial property needs for the city’s growing population. Bishop Drive is a quickly-growing commercial corridor. The residential neighbourhood has been steadily growing in the area over the last 20 years, with both multi-unit and single-family homes (including apartments) built along Lian Street, Langille Drive and Brianna Drive.
